When we sell a physical gift card at our store it sends an email to the customer about the purchase automatically.
How can we turn that off?
If you go into your Shopify admin > Settings > Notifications.
Only the templates that have checkmark boxes next to them can be turned off. The "New Gift Card" template doesn't have the checkmark box (so I don't believe it can be turned off).

This email should clearly state that it is a receipt for a physical gift card purchased in-store. Customers may confuse this email for a gift card for themselves, and use it. And then, when the gift card recipient tries to use the physical gift card, the balance will already be spent! I've had several customers ask me about this and I can't believe that Shopify would make the emails exactly the same. This is very confusing for customers.
