Hi guys,
When an order is placed you are signed up to our email list (you can select not to be), however the second the order is placed this secondary email comes up? I have disabled double opt in emails and cant figure out how to delete this follow up email?

The opt-in confirmation email can sometimes still appear despite having disabled double opt-in if the store is using a third-party theme. However, this should only apply to signups happening on your storefront (usually on the home page). The checkout opt-in should be following the settings in your admin.
How soon after you changed the settings did you notice that double opt-in was still being offered? I'm wondering if maybe the system just needed a moment to register the change. If customers are still seeing the opt-in confirmation email and your settings in the admin have been saved successfully, please get in touch with our team via the Shopify Help Center so we can investigate further.
