Hey @everbeachvibe.

Thanks for reaching out.

I appreciate the context that you have shared with us as that is very helpful. It looks like this is a third-party domain that you are trying to connect to your online store. Could you attempt to change the CNAME record to point toward shops.myshopify.com to see if that does the trick?

With that being said, I did want to share with you our help article that goes into a step by step guide.

If you happen to have any trouble with making this change, you can contact your third-party domain provider to get further assistance with making this change. You can provide your domain provider with the following details available here

I have received that same notice and have already implemented the steps above (last week) but it still has not resolved itself. So, it did not do the trick for me.

I was wondering though...Can I just delete the www. domain listed in Shopify? www already forwards to the domain without the www anyway. So what will happen if I just delete that domain in Shopify? Anything terrible?

Any other advice? I have read the step-by-step article already.

Thanks

Hey @thatsfine

Thanks for reaching out with that context.

I wouldn't suggest deleting or removing the domain. When it comes to making changes to the domain - it may take up to 48 hours to reflect on the recent changes made.

Since you specified that you made updated the domain last week - I would suggest reaching out to the third-party domain provider's support with these changes for the third-party domain. They can clarify if the domain in question is successfully pointed towards the online store.
