How to fix image cropping in Dawn theme slide show on home page?

Hello,  I am currently setting up my shopify store and am using Dawn theme.. I am navigating just fine, however, I am having issues with the slide show add on for the Home page.  I am using 3 life style images and as I add them to the store,  In the admin, I am able to get the picture to fit perfectly but when I view my actual store it cuts off the top and bottom of the images.  How do I get this to fit the same from admin to the actual store that everyone will see?  I hope this makes sense.  Thank you in advance!
