How to fix pop up login error on Safari and Firefox?

Hi there,

We have a pop up window on the site which restricts access for only logged in users.

When the customer enters their login data - we want them browser to remain on the same page that they are currently browsing. And not redirect to the account page.

We managed to achieve this, however on Safari and Firefox an error message box appears during this login process. After logging in the customer will stay on the same page, however the error message appears which needs to be closed. We want the best customer experience and this confuses the customer.

Trial and Error so far:

Once we fill out the form through ajax, Shopify returns the redirect response. Which we also handled but still we are not getting anything in response only redirect.

After that there is invisible recaptcha which is reloading our page and after reloading, lose access from form but it submits itself and redirects us to the login page of Shopify.

Any ideas?
