How to have differing drop down menus on the product pages?

Hi,

I'm using the classic Dawn theme for reference.

On each product I have the drop down menus with various information about that specific product. Whenever I change details on one specific product's drop down menu, it changes it for ALL the products. I'm having the same issue with the image with text feature only on the product pages.

How can I change details on the drop down menu (& image w text) via the product page without it copying it to the rest of the product pages? I need to have different info on each product. PLEASE help

By "Drop down menu" do you mean the accordion options such as materials, dimensions, care etc?

If you are going to the theme and adding the information directly into those boxes (see image below), then it will be universal across all products that use the same template.

If you want it to be dynamically filled for each product, you're best bet is to use metafields to populate the data. To add the dynamic metafield source, click on the pancake stack next to "Row Content from Page" and click "+ Add Metafield."

From here, you may wish to do some research on creating your own custom metafields. I would suggest starting here, as the concepts will apply broad spectrum for what you are looking to do.
