How to hide a Collection from search results? (robots no-index)

I want to have a collection that will not be visible to customers or search engines, but that I can still view (as admin) on the online store.

I can hide it on the site by simply not linking to it anywhere, but how can I hide it from the sitemap & set a collection to no-index?

Alternatively, is there a hidden option to have a collection in "Draft" status?

You can just not include the collection to "online store" and just access it on your Shopify admin. However, if you still want it to be included on your online store and hide it to customers but can be access by you, you can try to use applications such as Locksmith and LockOn.
