Hello,
I have AUTO COLLECTION tags set up for each product that I add to my Shopify store. Some of the products accidentally got AUTO TAGGED and are now in the wrong category. It is simple to remove regular tags by just clicking the "X" however, there is no way to X-out of an AUTO COLLECTION TAG. See attached screenshot of the blue highlighted AUTO TAGS that I cannot figure out how to remove from one product at a time. How do I remove an AUTO TAG from one product?
Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you, Lisa
Oh my this has happened to me to! where are the answers!
same! still no answers to this?
Hi There,
So basically go to your Products and select the product you want to remove from the auto collection. Once selected you will see 3dots at the bottom where a line comes up with several choices. Click those dots they will say "More" Then find the option that says "Remove From Collections" select the collection you want to remove and save.
Hello
I have the same problem, but I can't locate the 3 dots at the bottom of the product page. Can you upload a screenshot?
Thanks

Hi!
Anyways it works only with the collections that are set with tags - not with the auto collections.
Mine is coming up as "Sale" - highlighted in blue - when i click "remove from collections" - the "sale" collection is not visible to be able to delete. Please help
Had faced with a similar situation, here's the solution:
Check the Conditions on the Collections page, it must be saying:
The product tag is equal to (tag)
tag being the auto tag which will be there on the product page as well.
Now, if you want to remove any product from the auto collection, then remove the particular (tag) from the product page.
There could be any other condition as well on the collection page, check the tag on that condition as well and then go to the product page to remove that tag.
Then save.
I just had this problem and realized that I had added a condition on my collection that said any product greater than an inventory of 0, but I had "any condition" toggled on, instead of "all conditions" and it pulled all products with inventory greater than zero. Maybe that would fix your problem?
