I create Shopify stores for a clients and I am using my personal card for billing during the setup. After transferring ownership of the store to the client, my card remains connected to the store because Shopify does not allow me to remove it without replacing it with another card. What if the client has not added their payment method, leaving my card at risk of being charged.
I need a solution to remove my card and ensure the client takes full financial responsibility for the store.
