How to remove video player, all controlls and make video embed in Dawn theme?

Hi! I'd be so thankful If someone could tell me how to 

remove video player, all controls and make video embed and loop in Dawn theme.

So it play automatically in the moment you scroll to it.

Hi @kate5 👋 autoplay should already be possible IF the video is muted or has no audio for media sections/blocks in the dawn theme.

For embeds use a custom-liquid block and the relative HTML attributes to must audio and controls.

To autoplay based on scroll position is an advanced theme customization, there may be prior solutions found through your own research on the forums.

DIY is using a custom-liquid section and javascript with scrolling autoplay logic easily found online.

No there are specific rules built into browsers against this massive internet annoyance.

Websites are a guest in a customers browser , the customer gets to decide how audio behaves, not the website.

Even if the website is whitelisted by the customers interactions merchant stores need to be very careful doing this or when it actually matters you wont be able to get this behavior.

For example only autoplay music if the store actually sells music, or the experience is an audio one.

Insisting on forcing others to hear ones personal music choices is a good way to tank conversions, ab test rigorously.
