How to search Inventory by Collection

I need to search the Inventory (Products > Inventory) by Collection; so I can export the products, set their stock levels and then import.

But I can't see how it's possible to search by "Collection". The search options are very limited.  I can search by "Available > 0" — so products in stock. But that does not select products that I need to add a stock level to, but are not currently in stock.

1. Export Products:

   • Go to Products > All products in your Shopify admin.

   • Click on Export and choose the desired export options.

2. Filter by Collection:

   • Open the exported CSV file in a spreadsheet application.

   • Use the filter function to filter products by collection.

Many thanks for that comprehensive reply.

I found a work-around by creating a tag, and applying that to all the products in the collection (with bulk edit). And then in Inventory, I was able to search on that tag.
