How to select specific product variants like color and style only?

I ran into in issue while trying to add images to my product variants. I have variants including: Size, Color, and Style.

Size is pretty much irrelevant because the pictures for different sizes are identical. However, that is not the case for color and style. There are 80 variants per product so adding these images by hand would take to long.

For example: I want to be able to select Black (Color), and Hoodie (Style), and have it show ONLY Black hoodies. Instead it selects everything Black and everything that is a Hoodie. 

In this picture I selected White (Color) and T-Shirt (Style) and it selected everything White AND everything that is a T-shirt. I want a way to select ONLY White T-Shirts. Is this possible?

Use a spreadsheet to make CSVs for this type of work with product CSV imports.

An admin UI is for day to day micro tasks it cannot cover every use case.

Don't try to use it for bulk data setups.

For specific use cases file a feature request with shopify chat support.
