Hi,
I'm trying to use Shopify as an internal tool shop for employees. I would like to do this by handing out Giftcards to my employees and let them use them in the shop to buy some products. I have the following challenge:
I would like my employees to only being able to pay with the giftcard and not with any other payment method --> I can cover this by adding a custom payment method that needs no payment.
Yet when using the method above the customer/employee can actually complete the order without paying at all for the order, So I would like to be able to set a payment rule that the "Total" of the order needs to be 0 before the payment is possible. What would be the best way of doing this?
Thanks!

I'm coming across the same issue, there's no way to prevent someone checking out with a manual payment method that exceeds the balance of a gift voucher code or store credits.
