Hello...
I have been trying for hours to set up the 2 step authentication with absolutely no luck at all! If this is how it is attempting to set it up, what will it be like once it is?! Very frustrating since I am just starting out. I have read past questions and answers, and it seems they had no luck either. I would like to bypass if I could, yet it seems in order for payout it is required.
Bottomline: not receiving any text code after several tries.

If you are trying to set up two-step authentication using SMS text messages, please double check that you're looking at the correct phone number for your code. Two-step authentication codes will be sent to the phone number you configure within the Security settings on your personal profile, not to the phone number configured under your store's general details under Settings > Store details in your Shopify admin. Sometimes merchants miss the text for this reason. If you are checking the correct number and still not receiving the code, I'd recommend trying to set this up using a different method like an authenticator app or a security key. We have more information on the different authentication methods available and how to set them up here.
If you're still having trouble setting up two-step authentication after that, please speak with our support team through this page. We aren't able to see any account information here over the Shopify Community, but if you speak with us through that page I shared we can review this with you in more detail.

Not at all helpful, sorry. I know you have certain scripts to use in order to answer questions, but that type of answer just makes things worse as it doesn't help or lead to any help at all. I am not stupid, I know my phone number, and that is what I continually attempted to use. Now the system won't let me try any more attempts because, according to the system 'I have tried too many times, try again later...' There are no issues in receiving text codes from other companies, only this Shopify. So I am wasting time, money, and energy on this one issue 😒
Supposedly, through private email, this issue was sent to the tech department, but I have yet to hear back; how long does that take?
I'd really like to use the shopify account, please let me know how to do that. Thank you.

Through countless more failed attempts at receiving a code via text, I am really not understanding how this is such a difficult step. I have tried using two phone numbers, neither one is receiving a code even though it reads a code has been sent.
Is there any one I can speak to on the phone about this?
