I noticed a week or so back that for a good three weeks, I have a little over 300 "broken links" showing in my Google Search Console where most of the product link is correct, but then it has this coding added to the end of each address creating a broken link:
"&logged_in_customer_id="
For example, the correct link is (removing my domain name):
products/frilly-frames-lattice
But the broken link showing up in my Google search console is:
products/frilly-frames-lattice&logged_in_customer_id=
I have searched all over Google for this issue and I can't figure out what's causing the error to occur. When I first found it I started to create redirects, but then I realized this might be similar to the issues with "web-pixels-manager@" and "wpm@0.0.233@" which I also have also recently experienced 1000 broken link issues with, and in researching that problem the information I researched told me it was a well known Shopify issue and that it was bad to create redirects to I deleted a whole day's worth of redirects I had created.
Is this the same thing? Is there a rule I can add to ignore them like I did for the other two I mentioned? or should I literally ignore them? Thanks for your help.
I'm seeing the same issue on every one of our Shopify accounts. Are you using the ShopSheriff AMP app by chance? I'm 99% it is related to their app as all of these referral URLs are from our AMP pages.
I've reached out to them to see if they know why this might be happening.
Yes, we are using the AMP app. I'm wondering if it's time to uninstall it. I'm not sure it's worth the hassle and after a year of using it I can't see that it's adding to my bottom line with the monthly fee. Plus, I already had someone speed up our most used collections and product pages without it.
Also, I'm curious if you heard back from them. I reached out to them 11 months ago with a different question requesting help and they never replied which made me wonder if this creator abandoned their app.
