I am not able to remove the product placeholders in collection list of homepage

Hi,

I am creating a new store. I have placed one product and created a collection with the same. Now, when I tried to replace the collection on the home page, I was not able to do so. My product placeholders are not replaced with actual products. Is there some technical issue, or do I need to add more products to the collection? Attaching an image for reference.
