Re: I cant remove white space above announcement bar in Refresh Theme
The refresh theme adds an unnecessary white bar above the announcement that I can't remove. Any advice on how to remove it?
Thanks for the info, seems like your adding a marquee? from an app or and ecommerse. But check this one.
From your Shopify admin dashboard, click on "Online Store" and then "Themes".
Find the theme that you want to edit and click on "Actions" and then "Edit code".
In the "Assets" folder, click on "base.css, style.css or theme.css" file, depending on which file your theme uses to store its CSS styles. At the bottom of the file, add the following CSS code:
.fab-marquee.fab_marquee_3083 {
display: none !important;
}
And Save.
Result:

Go to your theme's "Edit Code" Option, then in the search bar type "theme.liquid"
Below the tag "<head>" tag paste the following. Screenshot attached for reference.

}
</style>
