I installed Microsoft Clarity in code and now our visitor tracking doesn't appear to be working?

Two days ago I copy and pasted code into <head> for Microsoft clarity. The last couple of days we have had barely any traffic to site compared to usual and when I test to see live visitors (when I'm actively on the site) it says zero visitors. I deleted the code, but it's still saying no live visitors. How do I make sure the original theme code isn't messed up and not tracking visitor sessions?
