I want to open a website to upload pictures and information about my business. I do not sell any products, is there a way to have this type of website

That shouldn't be an issue. You can definitely use a combination of the theme's built-in settings + custom CSS to hide any of the ecommerce aspects that you don't want to show. You can also use Shopify's "paused" monthly plan for $9/month (https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/your-account/pause-deactivate-store#pause-and-build-your-store), so that it's a lot cheaper for you.
