I want Vertical Product Photos NOT Square photos with Dawn Theme 2.0 - Will it work?

Hello, I'm new to Shopify but have worked with other Theme Ecom sites in the past.  I'm hoping to use 4 x 5 product photos - I was advised to use Dawn Theme for it's functionality but unless I don't see how to make this work unless I completely rebuild the product pages within the theme.  Is that what you all would recommend or is there another option?

This should be the default behavior. What dimensions is the image that you are using?

If you just change the image to a 4x5 or 8x10 Aspect ratio, then you can achieve the results you are after.

For example, try uploading this image to a sample product in your shop...

And make sure to make this your primary image by dragging it to the first place.

If it still doesn't work - please share a link to the page where it's expected.

Thanks for your reply. Theoretically this does work - but as you probably know, when the images from the lead pages carry over to product pages etc there are an array of layout problems that require me to set up custom layouts.  Of course the theme and the blocks allow for this.  I'm on to the next steps and actually now working with a paid theme that allows me to achieve all that I am looking for much more quickly.  Thank you once again.

You should be able to find all the customizations in a good theme.
