Image with text full width

Hi! I want the "Image with text overlay" sections through the entire site to be full width. However, I've tried several code suggestions that were given in de community, in the base.css file and theme.liquid file but none of the suggestions are working on my site. 

I'm using the theme Ecomus 1.7.0

Any help is appreciated! 🙂
