Insert line of text on product page that links to metafield

I want to insert a line of text on the product page below the product title that links to a metafield but would also dynamically change depending on what product color is selected.

So each product color would have a different line of text appearing for it under the product title. Would anyone be able to help me do that? Thanks in advance.

Hey Ryan,

Depending on which theme you're using, this could be easily achieved with a theme compatible with Online Store 2.0. I won't recommend using the color metafield/option to determine the text but to create a metafield for the text and display the text from the product's metafield.

To accomplish this, considering you are using an Online Store 2.0 compatible theme:

1. First, create a metafield for the line of text. Follow this tutorial.

2. Edit your theme using the Customizer, and navigate to the Product page.

3. Using the blocks system, add a new text block below the product title.

4. Connect the newly added text block to the metafield you created in step 1. Follow this tutorial.

The newly added text block will now display whatever text you've put in the connected metafield for each product.

Thanks for the info! The part where the text changes depending on the color variant selected is actually very important. If you or anyone knows how to go about doing that as well then it would be greatly appreciated!
