Is anyone having issues with opening downloaded billing invoice pdfs from Shopify Admin?

I am unable to open downloaded billing pdfs from Shopify Admin. Using different browsers or incognito windows has no effect. I have no issues opening downloaded pdfs from any other online source.

Hello, @marksmart

Upon clicking the download button, look towards the right end of your addressbar. If you see (popup blocked) click that and allow popups from recently blocked sites.

The other thing is the blocked cookies. Around that same area (assuming you're using google chrome) you will need to allow cookies from the sites on the list.

This is what I can think of off the top of my head. There are other things I can suggest, but those might be overkill without trying these out first.

Hi David,

I don't use Chrome because of unresolved CORS issues with that browser. I use Microsoft Edge and Opera. When I download from these browsers the pdf file becomes corrupted in some way from Shopify and therefore it can't be opened by Acrobat or any other pdf reader.

I've got the problem also - its *not* downloading a PDF

It's downloading an HTML document - which could very well be an error message

Here's the first line of the file it is downloading:
