Is combining different domain stores possible and beneficial?

Hello! 

We have two separate shopify stores, one for our .ca & one for our .com. 

I am thinking about combining them (For SEO & PCC purposes) but don't know how difficult this might be or if its even possible. 

A few things: 

- The currency will have to be different for USA vs CAD customers 

- Some products are only available in the USA and some only available in CAD

-Shipping options are different in the USA vs CAD 

Any help or things I am missing would be greatly appreciated!
