Is it not possible to redirect a /cdn url?

Hi,

We have some files in the old site (not shopify) that needs redirecting to our new site

for example, we want this url https://www.oldlivesite.com/cdn/shop/files/?10230 to redirect to the new livesite https://www.newlivesite.com/

I tried adding it to the redirect in shopify but it won't work. Is the /cdn also one of the exceptions for redirection?

I dont think it can be redirected. The CDN URLs are generated by Shopify based on the caching they use for static files. 

If you are moving to shopify, you can just upload the file as part of your theme and reference it
