I want to add a custom review system in my DAWN theme is it possible so that I can cusomize and have the power to do anything

Collecting customer feedback requires an app as there is no native data gathering system for forms in shopify that also creates backend data.

Even contact forms are just pass throughs that send an email , contact forms can't create new objects, etc.

Yes, if you invest the time or money into custom development

Beyond this if the sample app is not what your asking about, then you need to drastically improve the quality of the question to detail the actual goals
