Is it possible to track conversions in checkout within 90 days?

The reference is stored in landing_site_ref. I didn't find the information, but I guess it only works for the current session. Or is this information stored in a Shopify cookie? How long is it available?

We have an affiliate that requires to set up the tracking that expires after 90 days. Did anyone else already have such a requirement and knows a solution for that?
