Hi @Subhan2,

 

Thank you for getting me in touch. Are you a merchant currently on a Trial plan, or a Shopify Partner using a store on a Development plan?

 

Merchants cannot process sales through the checkout until they have chosen a subscription plan; this allows you to disable the password page so that the checkout can be accessed. Partners using development stores should be able to process test orders through the Shopify checkout but they cannot process real orders.

There are several reasons for checkout not working in your store.  

 

One of the reasons as @Victor mentioned could be store is not on the paid plan. Shopify checkouts only work with the subscribed plans. 

 

If you have subscribed to a Shopify plan and still having issues please share your store URL so I can help you test it on my end.

 

Here are the potential reasons of checkout not working:

 

  • Payment gateway issues:
    If you are using a third-party payment gateway to process orders on your store, there could be a problem with the connection between your store and the payment gateway. This could cause the checkout process to fail.

  • Checkout settings:
    Make sure that your checkout settings are configured correctly. In particular, make sure that you have selected a valid payment provider and that you have enabled checkout in your store's settings.

  • Theme issues:
    If you have recently made changes to your store's theme, there could be a problem with the code that is causing the checkout process to fail. You can try switching to a different theme to see if the problem persists.

  • Shopify server issues:
    In rare cases, there could be an issue with the Shopify servers that is causing the checkout process to fail. If you suspect this is the case, you can try checking the Shopify status page to see if there are any known issues that could be causing the problem
