Issues when creating a second click and collect location.

I’m looking to set up an additional location in Shopify so I can prepare orders from my main location/warehouse to then deliver to the second location for customers to collect.

I hit a wall after setting up the second location, I need to set all stock to the new location. If that is not done, customers cannot place orders on my website for any kind of delivery/collection option.

My only potential issue with this is that I won’t physically be holding stock at this location, it is only to send packed orders for collection.

I want to avoid stocking items in this second location as it won't hold onto any stock, only release stock ordered and ready to collect. 

I would ideally not use a third party app or service for this but also open to if really required.
