Issues with Button in Shopify Theme

I am trying to add a button to my shop's homepage and am having issues. I have included a screenshot. I have tried various Button Styles and Colors, but the 'Text' (currently 'SHOP') still isn't showing. If anyone has a suggestion, I would greatly appreciate it!

Probably some css or liquid bug in the code that stops it from rendering or is hiding it. Please share your url with the text inserted from the customizer, will take a peek into it
