it shows my store name is taken but I created a free account with the name

I created an account using the free trial for my store and decided not to move forward.  I currently want to change my platform from GoDaddy to Shopify but it is saying my store name is taken and I don't have any way to access the admin section. My current log in does not show any stores connected to my account.  How can I fix this to get set up with my store on shopify? Thanks
