Limited Edition items

Hello, I’m trying to modify the count of released Limited Edition items. For example, instead of keeping separate paper records, I’d like to manage everything directly in Shopify. How can I create a section within products for special internal notes? Specifically, I want to assign sequential numbers for limited edition prints. These numbers don’t always match the natural count of Shopify’s Available Inventory and require manual adjustments. For instance, a customer might request a specific number. Instead of the default sequential numbering (e.g., 34/100), they want it to be 40/100, where the first number represents the order in the edition, and 100 is the total volume of the edition
