I am have issues uploading files via csv. The import email comes back with hundreds of validation failed due to "not a valid file type". I have checked the URL's and they are all fine. Here is a sample URL:

I have also attached a sample of the import file.

Any help on this will be greatly appreciated!

Hi Gif

You need to use the direct image URLs and one's that are not behind a CDN. The dropbox URLs are actually web pages that contain the image so are not suitable for csv product imports.

Thanks Tom,

How would I get the direct URLs?

Hi Gif

You can't use Dropbox for the Shopify csv import. You could upload to a simple web server or storage bucket on AWS, Azure etc and access the images directly from there. Then of course shut down the server so you don't get billed for it.
