Hello,
my Shopify store is multilingual : English, Italian and French.
I have noticed a big issue with all the Shopify customer email notifications : they show the correct translated text but the all the buttons and links urls redirect all to the main language of the shop (in my case : English).
This means for example: if I send a draft order invoice email, the text of the email is translated, but the checkout link inside the email will redirect to the English checkout. Same for "visit our store" or "pay now" or "view your order" buttons.
Technically speaking, for example the {{shop.url}} {{shop.email_logo_url}} {{ invoice_url }} {{ order_status_url }} go all to the main language and their urls are not translated.
This means losing a lot of potential sales and having problems with continuous emails from customers who do not understand the different language.
I have reverted all the notifications templates and so did also all the translations automatically, but the problem is still there.
Is anyone experiencing the same issues?
I have seen some guides referring to add the ?locale=it& parameter to the urls but this works only with some urls.
@Shopify this problem is serious. Please fix it ASAP.
