We regularly discount over stocked product and add them to a category on our site called outlet. For example we have a product, let's call it: Large vase
It is available in 5 colours; red, blue, green, yellow, white
We have excess stock of green and white and so want to outlet them at less 40%
We would ideally like to be able to list the green and the white in the outlet category without the parent showing. Customer can browse the outlet category and just see the individual SKUS that are on clearance.
Having the parent show is no good. Customers click through from the parent to ALL 5 options and expect all 5 to be available at a discount when in fact only two are.
On Magento we used to be able to do this.
Note: The parent would show on the rest of the site and the children would not. It is basically functionality that allows you to merchandise a child SKU independenty of the parent.
Does anyone have a solution, know of an app etc?
