Locked out of online store: how can I recover access?

just recently I have switched to a new computer I had thought all of my notes were transferred over to the new one but I was sorely mistaken when trying to log into my store I don't have the security key in my notes as I did on the computer that is now wiped if someone could pleased help it is pretty urgent and its unfortunate Shopify has no sort of customer service number I'm having to bend over backwards to try and get into my online store

I can see that you are having some difficulty accessing your Shopify account. I'd be happy to clarify the next steps involved in getting back into your account.

From what I can gather, you cannot login due to not being able to access the code for your two-factor authentication, is that correct?

If you have access to the recovery codes for your account then you can try using one of those. Alternatively, perhaps you added a backup method to the account that you can choose when logging in?

If not, then it will be necessary to reach out to our support team directly. You can use this link here to do so, and if you are unable to login via the help center then you will need to choose the 'I don't have an account' option underneath the green log in button. 

After doing so, you will need to select the support topic/sub-topic and then you will be presented with the contact options. Select whichever one you prefer, however live chat might be the quickest and best suited to this matter.
