Hi my logo when I search up my company on Google it is showing up as the Shopify logo instead of my actual logo. I have set the Favicon. It works on my other site but not on one of my websites.
Thanks in advance for the help!
Hey @Mitch23,
try cleaning your cache and check from another device.
Also note that changes in Google can take up to 48 hours to apply.
Hi,
Thanks for the advice but this still has not changed anything. I have waited 48 hours multiple times but nothing has changed yet unfortunately. So I am still unsure as what to do.
Hi, @Mitch23.
Welcome to the Shopify Community. Thanks for sharing your question!
I understand when searching your website on Google, you're not able to see the logo for your business. Instead, you're seeing Shopify's logo. You've also mentioned that you set up your Favicon image.
For better visibility, could you share the link to your store, so I can try to replicate the issue?
In the meantime, I recommend waiting for Google to update its search results. It may take some time for Google to crawl and index your website's pages, including the updated favicon.
Another option is to use Google Search Console to request a reindexing of your website. This can help expedite the process of updating your website's information in Google's search results.
Lastly, if the Shopify logo is still showing as your Favicon, it might be due to a caching issue. You can try clearing your browser's cache and cookies. If the problem persists, ensure you've correctly followed the steps in the Adding a favicon to your store guide.

Thanks for sharing the link, @Mitch23.
When visiting your website I can see that you've uploaded your Favicon as it's clearly displayed. To further troubleshoot, could you try submitting your sitemap to Google, so that the information can be properly crawled. If the issue persists, it's important to note that according to Google: A favicon isn't guaranteed in search results even if all guidelines are met.
