Looking for Alternatives to Buy Now for Subscription

Looking for Alternatives to Buy Now for Subscription

I have a subscription service that I am looking to, when a user selects the Purchase CTA on my pricing page, goes right to checkout with the subscription they choose ready to go.

However, the Buy Now Shopify links will not work because my product is a subscription, and my products have been removed. Now when users go to purchase it says they cannot because there is no selling plan.

I am trying to determine if there is a technical workaround for this, or any free alternatives available for me to have this functionality? I am open to either just looking to get this to work. For now, I just have three products I am looking to do this for.

Hi there, @RyanAnderson

It sounds like you're having trouble linking your subscription products directly to checkout due to missing selling plans. For a smooth and hassle-free experience with subscription products, I highly recommend trying Trust Subscription.

With Trust Subscription, it’s easy to set up selling plans for your digital memberships, allowing customers to go directly to checkout without issues. The app offers excellent customer and technical support, so if any challenges arise during setup or customization, help is readily available.

It could be a perfect fit for your three products. Feel free to reach out if you need any assistance!

Can you explain how it does this as it is not readily available on the product page within the app store?

Hi @RyanAnderson,

I’m also using Trust Subscription for my store, and I’ve been able to set it up so that subscription products go directly to checkout without any issues.

The key is to create and assign selling plans to your products within the app. Once you do that, when customers select a subscription option, it links directly to the checkout, preventing any errors like "no selling plan."

Here's how I did it:

  1. Go to the selling plans section in Trust Subscription and set up your subscription options (e.g., weekly, monthly).
  2. Attach these plans to your subscription products.
  3. After that, everything should work seamlessly with direct checkout.

If you’re still running into problems or can’t find this option on the product page, I recommend reaching out to Trust Subscription’s support team. They’ve been super helpful for me, and I’m sure they can assist you with this setup.
