Loox Reviews Product Review Block not working

Hello,

 

I am using the most recent version of Debutify's theme and having an issue where the Loox Product Reviews block won't add to the theme. When I try to add it in, I get an error. The error states "loox-dynamic-section" not added. There is a problem with the app block. Contact the app developer." Does anyone know how to resolve this?

Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I'd be happy to provide some assistance with this request, to ensure it gets resolved. To confirm I'm fully understanding, have you connected with Loox- Product Reviews App regarding this issue?

 

If not, I'd encourage you to connect with them directly. As Loox- Product Reviews App is considered to be a third-party app, the app developers will be able to investigate further to ensure it gets resolved. To connect with the app developer, you can head over to the Shopify App Store and scroll down to the 'Built by Loox' section to view their support options. 

 

If after connecting with them, the issue persists, please feel free to connect with us directly. This will allow our support team to take a closer look, as we wouldn't have access to any account specific information through the Community.

I've been having this same problem with my app. I think it has to do with the default language setting of the store. Is your store's default language set to 'English' or something else? I've found if its set to 'Japanese' for example, trying to add an app block via a deep link such as within the Loox app will not work. It seems to be a bug on Shopify's side that was reported on this forum many months ago. In this case the only option is for users to manually add the block via the theme editor..

At least in my case, so far this seems to be the cause..

Hello Rotem, 

 

unfortunately I have the same problem. I can't add two widgets so I can't continue with my reviews now. I've already checked, it's not the language. It doesn't work with these two widgets:
- Product Reviews Widget
- Rating widget
I always get: "loox-dynamic-section" not added. There is a problem with the app block. Contact the app developer.

or:

"loox rating" not added. There is a problem with the app block. Contact the app developer.

 

What do i have to do now? 

I look forward to a quick reply.

You may see an error message when trying to add a Loox widget directly from the Loox app via the “Add to theme” buttons. 

 

Click here to watch and learn how to manually add any Loox widget to your pages via the Theme Editor’s drag-and-drop feature.
