Make a button execute JavaScript code to link to live chat

Hey all. Recently implemented Freshworks on my website, and I am using their live chat widget.

I would like to be able to link a button to "activate" or maximize this widget into view, so that I can have a button that says "Chat with Us" or something of the like, and make it pop open the widget.

Freshworks advised me this is possible with JavaScript code, however I don't see a way to make a button link to JavaScript code.

Is this possible, and if so, how do I achieve this?
