Good afternoon,
So I'm reading up on Accessibility (WCAG), and have found following requirement;
"The user should be informed in advance about which form fields must be filled in a form. When the user is informed about mandatory fields in advance, it is easier to fill in the form correctly on the first attempt.
One way to provide information is, for example, to write which fields must be filled in above the first form field.
It is also possible to use a symbol to mark mandatory fields. In order for the use of a symbol to be approved marking, the meaning of the symbol must be explained before it is used for the first time in the form. For example, there could be text that says "Required fields are marked with * " or similar, above the first form field."
Here in Norway, I commonly see the latter approach being used (a symbol to mark mandatory/required fields with an explanation above the form), such as this:
As this type of marking is a requirement in regards to accessibility, at least in Norway, I assumed that it would be easy to enable it in the Shopify checkout, but I can't seem to find such setting.
Any help? :s
