Menu customising

When select a category drop down menu and when select a category, a category list appears on the left.

Question is,

Was just wondering if in a drop down category menu that the menu / category item selected could be highlighted ? eg, something like a selected main category highlighted and the sub categories slightly less highlighted underneath, whether it be bold and colour changed to stand out from the other category items which were not selected.

Or if main category in one colour and bold, where as the sub categories less bold and maybe different colour, something so that they can stand out one from the other, and from the other categories that are not selected.

Also if could bold or highlight ( or something else ) the category or sub category that is selected so that it stands out different from the other categories and sub categories that are not selected,

Eg, if looking on the left, they could clearly see a vast different from the category or sub category they have selected compared to the other sub category.

Eg, if as in the above example mention, if they selected "Fidget"  ( which is a sub directory of "TOYS" ) that would be in a different colour or different bold than the other sub category of "TOYS", and also different from the main category that it is in / under.

Also the main category ( TOYS ) that "Fidget" is under would be more highlighted and bolder than the other categories that are not selected so that it can stand out.

If that makes sense.

Just making sure, are you talking about products in a mega menu? If you are, take a quick peek at this demo store for Meteor Mega Menu. I'm thinking "Solar," "Amazon," or "Horizon" would accomplish what you're after... I think 😊

My mistake, I just read your original post again, it seems like you're just looking for a CSS edit to highlight a line in your mega menu 🤗
