Metafields in Empire Theme

We are trying to set up meta-fields and meta-objects in our site, and there is issues getting it to show on the product pages after creating per youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVMVvidjml4 . We are using the theme Empire. Is there anything else we need to do to enable this feature in our site.
