Metafields - order - can't select MONEY type

Hi,

we create on an order three metafields. 

There metafields are all of type money.

 

In this example I created three orders where we added the three metafields per order via API.

When I now try to add a definition for those metafields via the Shopify Admin I can not select the MONEY type for some reason.

Important: if I do it the other way around - A) Create the metafield definiton and them add metafields to the order it works smoothly.

Why can't I choose the money type for metafields that clearly adhere to the specs of the money type?
