Migrated orders from ETSY do not show taxes already paid. Is there a way to update?

Recently migrated all ETSY orders over thinking it would be good to have all prior order data. Unfortunately, it has messed up the Nexus calculations in Shopify since it does not show taxes already paid by buyer.

All orders with taxes collected are showing "balance due to buyer". Is there a way to update so Shopify starts calculation of Nexus from order 1 placed within this new store and not take prior ETSY sales into equation?

We thought that we could delete the prior orders but when deleting one it said it will no longer be available however it didnt change the data for these purposes.
