Migration: Is it possible to upload old sales data ?

Hello,

I will be starting to use Shopify in the middle of the year while  I have sales data through my inperson events in Excel. I would like to have one year completed data for sales analysis. Is it possible to load old sales data to be used in sales analytics ? The trick here is: there will be products that are not in the inventory anymore. And there will be  products still in the opening inventory that should not be affected by the sales info. This is a situation for Day 0 for my shop in Shopify.

Can someone advise if this is possible? If not possible, any workaround idea?
