I recently tried to add an app called Sufio to my store, which uses the Turbo (Seoul) theme from Out Of The Sandbox..
It was not working properly and their technical support suggested I needed to locate files called "customers/account.liquid" in the templates folder.
Those files are not there on my main site. They are there on my test site though. I was advised that it was probably an app that was masking those files but when I installed all my apps on my test site, the templates were still there.
At the same time, I am getting complaints from some of my customers that the discount box is not appearing on their checkout. It does appear for most customers though.
I am wondering if these two problems are somehow connected.
Does anyone out there have any ideas/thoughts/suggestions?
I know Sufio and don't think it's connected. It looks like someone deleted that file by accident. If you don't have an account.liquid file then your account page shouldn't work. Is it still work?
Hi Lynth
Yes, when I login as a customer to my site, I can visit my account page and see all my previous orders.
And what is the account URL address?
The account page is not attached to the customer template file I think. I'm not sure but it looks like it's not. Are you sure if you edit something in the customers/account.liquid you can see changes on your site?
Well No. That's the problem. There is no customers/account.liquid file for me to edit. It is just not there in the templates folder (or anywhere else).
How about customers/account.json? Maybe try to create that file. In the settings - customer account you can customize it then.
No .json file either. Interestingly, I went to my sandbox site and copied the contents of the customers/account.liquid file and then went back to my main site and tried to create a new customers/account template but the system said the file already exists.
However, when I search for that file it does not find anything.
It is like the file is being hidden or masked in some way
This is the first time I've come across something like this, interesting, but don't know how to fix it.
Well thanks for trying anyway. I appreciate it.
I have solution. Your customer template files are hidden because you choose log with one-time code block.
Please choose Classic from Shopify settings -> Customer accounts -> Select Classic
After refresh theme editor you will see customer template files.
