Motion Theme - Liquid error (variable-products-grid-item line 17): Array 'collection.products' is n

We are using the Motion Theme for our site and trying to use the "Featured Collection" section on the homepage. 

However, the section keeps returning this error when trying to add a collection to it: Liquid error (variable-products-grid-item line 17): Array 'collection.products' is not paginateable.

 

Have been trying to find answers online but haven't found anything that works. Any ideas?

The variable collection.products is not declared properly, you cannot use it on the homepage.

You can change it to collections.products, because the screenshot you sent has a assign for collections. Hope it helps!
