Move Add to Cart button beside Quantity selection without altering Cart Pop Up

I would like to move my Add to Cart button beside my quantity selector on each product page. After installing the code below, it had the desired effect which was great. However, when I click Add to Cart, the cart pop up in the top right corner looks totally different, with a transparent background and text that overlaps, looking very messy.

I used the following code at the bottom of my theme.liquid file, before </body>.
