I recently raised a concern about a store that was cloned and hosted on Shopify. Now, we have discovered another cloned store with a slightly different link. How does Shopify allow such situations to persist, despite the clear violation of multiple Brazilian and international regulations?
These cloned sites unlawfully reproduce the content, design, products, and proprietary information that belong exclusively to Luiza Barcelos. Such practices constitute a violation of Law No. 9.610/98 (Brazilian Copyright Law) and other relevant international regulations. Additionally, this misconduct damages our company’s reputation and misleads our customers.
Previous cloned site: https://site-luizabarcellos.shop/
New cloned site: https://luizabarcellos.shop/
Original site: https://www.luizabarcelos.com.br
Its only one way out, to reserve all similar domain names.. just like fb.com, I guess shopify have some policy about it. but i do not know.
